Against a general contractor

OTG carries the material lines and owns the chain from design through installation. One company is accountable for the result — not a GC marking up a supplier and a sub.

Against factory showrooms

Factory-direct pricing without factory overhead, and no house line to push. The specification stays free to follow your job, whatever brand that ends up being.

A countertop job covers kitchen runs and islands, waterfall ends, full-height slab backsplashes and bathroom vanity tops.

How a countertop job runs

We measure the room, help you choose the slab, and template on the cabinets once they are standing — stone is measured off what exists, not off a drawing. The piece is cut by the fabricators we work with, then set by our crew, with the sink reconnected on site so the reveal stays even.

Two to three days on site is typical, and the kitchen stays usable around it.

The installs other crews decline

Oversized islands that need a seam, walls that are not square, long L and U runs that arrive in pieces, and stone running full height behind a range. Where the seam falls gets decided before the slab is cut rather than on install day.

Choose the material

Four ways to top a kitchen

Most people arrive knowing the room and not the stone. This is the short version of what each one is good at. Bring a photo to the estimate and we will narrow it down on site.

Quartz

Engineered, non-porous and consistent slab to slab. Never needs sealing, which is why most kitchens end up here.

Granite

Natural stone, no two slabs alike. Hard-wearing and heat-tolerant, and sealed when we install it.

Marble & natural stone

Soapstone, quartzite and marble. The look nothing else reproduces, in exchange for etching and patina over time.

Porcelain & sintered stone

Dekton and similar sintered surfaces. Thin, near-indestructible and UV-stable, so it works on an outdoor kitchen.
