What we collect
When you submit the estimate form, we receive what you type into it: your name, phone number, email address, the kind of project you are planning, and — if you fill them in — the project address and a description of the work. The form also records which page you submitted it from, so we know whether you were reading about countertops or bathrooms when you got in touch.
If you call or email us instead, we have whatever you tell us and whatever your phone or mail provider shows us, which is ordinarily your number or address.
We use Google Analytics to count visits: which pages are read, roughly where visitors come from, and whether they arrived from a search or a link. It shows us patterns, not names — we see that a page was visited, not who you are. There is no advertising pixel and no session recorder.
How we use it
To answer you. A submitted form becomes an email to our office and an automatic confirmation to you, and someone reads it and calls or writes back — usually the same business day. That is the whole purpose.
If we go on to quote or do the work, the same details become part of the ordinary paperwork of the job: the estimate, the written scope, the schedule, the invoice.
We do not sell your information, we do not share it with data brokers, and we do not add you to a marketing list because you asked for an estimate.
Who else sees it
Our email provider (Resend) delivers the notification to our office and the confirmation to you, and our host (Vercel) runs the site and keeps ordinary server logs that include IP addresses. We use Supabase to store the reviews shown on this site and to sign staff into our internal panel, and Google Analytics processes visit statistics for us as described above.
Those companies process this information on our behalf, under their own security obligations, and are not free to use it for their own purposes.
Two parts of the site load content from Google: the map on the contact and home pages, and some photography served from our previous site's content network. When those load, the provider sees your IP address and may set its own cookies under its own policy. Nothing else on the page reports back to anyone.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets cookies on the public pages to tell one visit from another. Blocking them in your browser breaks nothing on this site. Beyond that, the only cookies we set belong to our staff panel, where they keep a signed-in employee signed in.
The embedded Google map may set cookies when it loads. Your browser controls whether third-party cookies are allowed, and blocking them affects nothing on this site except the map.
How long we keep it
Enquiries live in our email, and job records live in our project files for as long as we may need them — for warranty questions, and for the records a licensed contractor is expected to keep. If you asked for an estimate and nothing came of it, ask us to delete what you sent and we will.
Server logs are retained by our host on its own schedule, measured in days rather than years.
Your rights in California
California residents may ask us what personal information we hold about them, ask for a copy of it, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it. We will not treat you differently for asking.
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of — but if that ever changes, this page will say so before it happens.
To make a request, email or call us using the details below. We may need to ask a question or two to confirm you are the person whose information it is.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, the estimate form is rate-limited against automated abuse, and access to our internal panel is restricted to our own staff. No system is perfect, and we would rather say that plainly than promise otherwise.
Children
This is a remodeling company's website. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
If what we do with your information changes, we will update this page and the date at the top of it. The version you are reading is the one that applies.
