A sink is the one fixture in a kitchen that gets used every single day, and the one whose installation is invisible when it is right. The cutout is made in the slab before it ever reaches your house, so the model you choose has to be settled early.
Bring the sink to the template appointment
Every sink has its own cutout dimensions and its own reveal. Our fabricators cut the stone to that specific model, which is why we ask you to have the sink on hand — or its exact spec sheet — at the template visit. Deciding later means either a compromise or a second slab.
Faucet holes are drilled at the same time: the tap, plus a soap dispenser, air gap, filtered-water tap or pot filler if you want them. Holes are cheap to drill before the stone is cut and expensive afterwards.
The sinks we set
- Undermount — the standard on stone, and the reason crumbs sweep straight into the basin. Supported from below and set with a polished reveal.
- Farmhouse and apron-front — beautiful, heavy, and dependent on the cabinet underneath being built to carry it. Best planned with the cabinets, not bolted on afterwards.

- Single and double basin — a single deep bowl fits a roasting pan; a double suits a household that hand-washes on one side

What the work covers
Old sink and faucet out, the new cutout set and sealed, the faucet plumbed, the disposal reconnected, dishwasher drain reattached, and the whole thing run and checked for leaks before we leave. Shutoff valves too corroded to close get replaced — the most common reason a "simple" swap turns into two visits.
A sink swap on its own is a short job. As part of a countertop replacement or a full kitchen remodel it is priced inside the same written scope, and the connections happen the day the stone is set wherever the existing plumbing allows.
